Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Loss Prevention Manager to join our team in Dubai, focused on safeguarding our agricultural operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing loss prevention strategies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This role requires a keen understanding of agricultural processes and a strong commitment to maintaining the integrity of our assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loss Prevention Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive loss prevention strategies to minimize risks and reduce losses related to theft, fraud, and operational inefficiencies within agricultural operations.
- Risk Assessment and Analysis: Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities in the supply chain, distribution centers, and retail outlets. Analyze data and trends to inform preventive measures.
- Team Leadership and Training: Lead and mentor a team of loss prevention associates. Provide training on loss prevention techniques, best practices, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate incidents of theft, fraud, and other losses. Gather evidence, conduct interviews, and prepare detailed reports for management review. Collaborate with local law enforcement as necessary.
- Collaboration with Departments: Work closely with operations, finance, and security teams to ensure a cohesive approach to loss prevention. Provide insights and recommendations to improve operational processes.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to local and international regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in legislation that may affect loss prevention strategies.
- Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of the loss prevention budget. Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities within loss prevention initiatives.
- Technology Implementation: Leverage technology solutions (e.g., surveillance systems, inventory management software) to enhance loss prevention efforts and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Reporting and Analytics: Prepare and present reports on loss prevention metrics to senior management. Use data analytics to measure the effectiveness of loss prevention programs and make data-driven decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in loss prevention, security management, or a related field, preferably within the agriculture sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in training and developing team members.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to loss prevention.
- Proficiency in using loss prevention technology and software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
