Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Loss Prevention Operations Manager to join our team in Dubai, specializing in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to minimize loss and enhance the security of our manufacturing operations. This role demands a proactive leader who excels in risk assessment, loss prevention techniques, and operational management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive loss prevention strategies for manufacturing operations to mitigate risks associated with theft, fraud, and operational discrepancies.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities within manufacturing processes and implement corrective measures.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of loss prevention specialists, providing training and mentorship to ensure high levels of performance and engagement.
- Policy Development: Create, implement, and enforce loss prevention policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and comply with local regulations.
- Incident Management: Oversee the investigation of theft, fraud, or other security breaches, collaborating with local law enforcement as necessary. Prepare detailed reports and recommend actions for improvement.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to monitor trends in loss and develop actionable insights for continuous improvement in loss prevention strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, and HR to promote a culture of loss prevention and security awareness throughout the organization.
- Training & Awareness: Design and deliver training programs for employees on loss prevention best practices and security measures.
- Supplier & Vendor Management: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance with loss prevention standards and protocols.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the loss prevention budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI on loss prevention initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in loss prevention, security management, or related fields within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing effective loss prevention strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and loss prevention software tools.
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations pertaining to loss prevention and security in the UAE.
