Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Operator to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace and Defense sector in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery used in the production and assembly of aerospace components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, and other specialized equipment used in the fabrication of aerospace components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure precise machining and assembly processes.
- Conduct regular inspections of machines and tools to ensure proper functionality and adherence to safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of production outputs, machine performance, and maintenance activities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and quality control measures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Assist in training new operators and other team members on machine operation and safety practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization and waste reduction efforts.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a machine operator, preferably in the aerospace and defense industry.
- Proficient in operating CNC machinery and performing basic programming tasks.
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials used in aerospace manufacturing.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and inspection techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to machine operation.

Working Conditions:

- The role requires standing for extended periods and may involve lifting heavy materials.
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.
- Must be willing to work overtime or adjust shifts as needed to meet production schedules.
