Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Market Research Manager to join our dynamic team in the energy sector based in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive market research projects that will inform strategic decision-making and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in market research methodologies, data analysis, and a deep understanding of the energy industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute market research strategies to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the energy sector.
- Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data using various research methodologies, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and secondary research.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations that translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product development, and operations, to align market research findings with business objectives.
- Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies affecting the energy sector to provide timely and relevant insights.
- Lead market segmentation analysis to identify target customer profiles and inform product positioning and marketing strategies.
- Manage relationships with external research firms and vendors, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) within the market.
- Organize and facilitate focus group discussions and workshops to gather direct feedback from customers and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in market research and apply innovative approaches to enhance research effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in market research, preferably within the energy sector or related industries.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis tools and software (e.g., SPSS, Excel, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with market research tools and techniques, including online survey platforms and data visualization tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of the energy market landscape in the Middle East is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in both English and Arabic is an advantage.
