Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Media Buyer Assistant to join our dynamic marketing team in the Aerospace and Defense sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of media buying processes and will be eager to support the team in executing strategic media campaigns that effectively promote our products and services to clients and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

- Media Planning Support: Assist the Media Buyer in developing and executing media plans that align with the overall marketing strategy, ensuring the effective allocation of advertising budgets across various channels, including digital, print, and broadcast media.

- Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify target audiences, analyze competitors, and evaluate media trends within the aerospace and defense industry. Use data-driven insights to support strategic recommendations.

- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with media vendors and agencies to gather rate cards, negotiate advertising placements, and secure contracts. Assist in maintaining relationships with key media partners to ensure favorable terms and conditions.

- Campaign Management: Monitor and track ongoing media campaigns, ensuring that they are executed on schedule and within budget. Assist in the preparation of campaign reports, analyzing performance metrics to inform future media buying strategies.

- Budget Management: Help manage the media buying budget by tracking expenditures, processing invoices, and ensuring that all financial transactions are processed accurately and timely.

- Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team to ensure that all media advertisements align with brand guidelines and messaging. Provide input on creative concepts and formats that resonate with target audiences.

- Performance Reporting: Assist in compiling performance reports that evaluate the effectiveness of media campaigns. Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement, and present findings to the Media Buyer and marketing team.

- Administrative Tasks: Support the Media Buyer with administrative duties, including scheduling meetings, maintaining project timelines, and organizing documentation related to media buys.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in media buying, advertising, or marketing, preferably within the aerospace and defense sector or a similar industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media advertising, Google Ads, and analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with media planning software is a plus.
