Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Medical Billing Specialist to join our team in Dubai, specializing in the construction sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, ideally within a construction-related environment, and will be responsible for managing the billing process for healthcare services related to occupational health and safety, as well as other medical services provided to employees in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Billing Management: Prepare, submit, and manage claims to insurance companies and government programs for medical services rendered to employees in the construction sector.

- Data Entry: Accurately enter patient and billing information into the medical billing system, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and compliant with regulations.

- Payment Processing: Monitor and track payments from insurance companies and patients, ensuring timely follow-up on any outstanding claims or balances.

- Dispute Resolution: Address and resolve any billing discrepancies, denials, or rejections from insurance companies. Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure proper billing procedures are followed.

- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about changes in healthcare billing regulations, coding, and compliance standards to ensure adherence to local and international laws.

- Reporting: Generate and analyze billing reports, providing insights into revenue cycles and identifying areas for improvement in billing processes.

- Collaboration: Work closely with medical staff, administrative personnel, and finance teams to facilitate effective communication and resolution of billing-related issues.

- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers, addressing inquiries and providing assistance regarding billing statements, payment plans, and insurance coverage.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing, with a focus on the construction industry being a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Strong understanding of medical coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) and billing regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
