Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Manager to join our dynamic team in the Transportation and Logistics sector. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing the medical operations within our organization, ensuring the health and safety of our workforce, and managing the medical aspects of our logistics operations. This position is essential for maintaining compliance with local regulations and fostering a culture of health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- Medical Oversight: Lead the development and implementation of medical policies, procedures, and protocols in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

- Health and Safety Management: Collaborate with operational teams to ensure that health and safety protocols are effectively implemented and adhered to across all logistics operations.

- Employee Health Programs: Design, implement, and monitor employee health and wellness programs to promote a healthy workforce. This includes health screenings, vaccination campaigns, and mental health initiatives.

- Emergency Response Planning: Develop and oversee emergency response plans for medical incidents and ensure that all staff are trained in these procedures.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local health regulations and laws, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of medical regulations related to transportation and logistics.

- Collaboration with External Providers: Liaise with external healthcare providers, hospitals, and clinics to establish partnerships and ensure prompt medical services for employees when necessary.

- Data Management: Maintain accurate medical records and data regarding employees’ health, injuries, and incidents, and generate reports for management review.

- Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for staff on health and safety practices, first aid, and basic medical response techniques.

- Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and management of the medical budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources while maintaining high-quality medical services.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field. A Master's degree in Public Health or a relevant medical field is preferred.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a medical management role, preferably within the transportation and logistics sector or a related industry.

- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

- Familiarity with medical data management systems and software is an advantage.

- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field is a plus.
