We are seeking a skilled Medical Records Technician with a background in Information Technology to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining electronic health records and ensuring the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of all medical data.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize electronic health record systems to input and update patient information
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all medical records
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Retrieve and release medical records as needed for patient care, insurance purposes, and legal requests
- Assist healthcare providers in accessing and interpreting medical data
- Collaborate with IT professionals to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to medical records systems
- Train staff on proper procedures for documenting and accessing medical records
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in medical record management

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Health Informatics, or related field

- Proficiency in electronic health record systems and other healthcare IT applications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems
