Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join our healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting medical staff and ensuring the efficient operation of our healthcare facility. The Medical Secretary will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Patient Coordination: Assist patients with appointment scheduling and manage patient flow within the clinic or hospital to ensure timely access to care.

- Administrative Support: Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.

- Record Management: Maintain and organize patient records, ensuring that all information is accurate, confidential, and compliant with healthcare regulations.

- Data Entry: Input patient information and medical histories into electronic health record (EHR) systems and ensure data integrity.

- Billing Support: Assist with the preparation of billing documents and liaise with insurance companies for claims processing and verification.

- Communication: Serve as a point of contact for patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies, ensuring clear and effective communication.

- Office Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the medical office, including inventory management and supply ordering.

- Compliance: Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and standards for patient privacy and confidentiality.

- Team Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate a seamless patient experience.

Qualifications:

- Education: A diploma or degree in healthcare administration, medical office management, or a related field is preferred.

- Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Medical Secretary or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in medical software and EHR systems, as well as standard office software (MS Office Suite).

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and healthcare staff.

- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

- Confidentiality: Strong understanding of patient confidentiality and healthcare regulations.
