Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi within the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical administration or secretarial work and will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our healthcare services related to manufacturing operations. This position requires exceptional communication skills, discretion, and a thorough understanding of medical terminology and administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to medical professionals and healthcare teams, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings.
- Patient Interaction: Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner, answering inquiries and providing information regarding services, appointments, and healthcare processes.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and billing information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Billing and Insurance Processing: Assist in processing insurance claims and verifying patient coverage, ensuring that all billing information is accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
- Communication Liaison: Serve as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies, facilitating clear and effective communication to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Inventory Management: Manage and order medical supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring that the necessary resources are available for healthcare operations.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all administrative practices adhere to healthcare regulations and company policies, maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
- Data Entry and Reporting: Perform data entry tasks related to patient information and generate reports as required by management to monitor departmental performance.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other administrative staff and healthcare professionals to improve operational efficiency and enhance patient care.
Qualifications:
- Education: A diploma or degree in medical administration, healthcare management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a medical secretary or in a similar role within a healthcare or manufacturing environment.
- Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and medical software applications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
