Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team in Abu Dhabi, specializing in agricultural machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and welding, with a passion for innovative agricultural solutions. The Metal Fabricator will play a crucial role in designing, assembling, and maintaining metal structures and components used in agricultural applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Fabrication and Assembly: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to fabricate and assemble metal components for agricultural equipment such as tractors, plows, and irrigation systems.

- Welding: Perform various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and arc welding to ensure strong, durable joints and finishes on metal parts.

- Machining: Operate machinery such as lathes, milling machines, and plasma cutters to shape and finish metal components according to specifications.

- Quality Control: Conduct inspections and tests on finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and comply with safety regulations.

- Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on fabrication equipment and tools, keeping them in optimal working condition to ensure production efficiency.

- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and other team members to discuss project requirements, timelines, and potential design improvements.

- Inventory Management: Keep track of materials and supplies, ensuring that the fabrication shop is well-stocked and organized to meet production demands.

- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the workplace.

Requirements:

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in metal fabrication or welding is preferred.

- Experience: Minimum of 3 years and maximum of 7 years of experience in metal fabrication, preferably in the agricultural sector.

- Skills:
- Proficient in welding techniques and metalworking tools.
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes and engineering drawings.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various physical conditions, including standing for long periods.

- Language: Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
