Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mortgage Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, specifically focusing on the Transportation and Logistics sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the mortgage operations process, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and exceptional service delivery. This role will require a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of mortgage processes, regulations, and the unique challenges faced within the transportation and logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Leadership: Lead and manage the mortgage operations team, providing direction, support, and training to ensure that all team members meet their performance objectives and maintain a high level of service.

- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the mortgage operations cycle, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround times.

- Compliance Management: Ensure all mortgage operations adhere to relevant regulations, policies, and procedures. Stay updated on changes in legislation and industry standards to maintain compliance.

- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with mortgage operations, including credit, operational, and regulatory risks. Develop risk management strategies and ensure they are implemented effectively.

- Performance Monitoring: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of mortgage operations. Generate reports and present findings to senior management.

- Customer Service Excellence: Foster a customer-centric culture within the team that prioritizes client satisfaction. Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance the overall customer experience.

- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including underwriting, sales, and finance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the mortgage process.

- Training and Development: Implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the mortgage operations team, ensuring they are equipped to handle complex transactions and industry changes.

- Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and economic factors that may impact mortgage operations in the transportation and logistics sector.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably within the transportation and logistics industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of mortgage products, processes, and regulations specific to the UAE market.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficient in mortgage software and technology systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
