We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mortician to join our healthcare team in Ajman. The Mortician will be responsible for providing professional care and services for deceased individuals and their families. This role requires a high level of sensitivity, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare deceased individuals for burial or cremation in accordance with religious and cultural customs
- Coordinate and facilitate funeral arrangements with families, clergy, and funeral homes
- Maintain accurate records of all services provided and ensure compliance with legal requirements
- Provide emotional support and guidance to grieving family members
- Assist with the transportation of remains to and from the funeral home, hospital, or morgue
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the dignity and respect of the deceased
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mortuary Science or a related field
- Certified Mortician license
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of cultural and religious funeral customs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in emotionally challenging situations
