Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Museum Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our museum located in Sharjah, UAE. The Museum Operations Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of all operational aspects of the museum, with a focus on enhancing the visitor experience and supporting educational programs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational plans and procedures to ensure the efficient running of the museum
- Supervise and manage museum staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Oversee the maintenance of museum facilities and exhibits, ensuring they are well-maintained and safe for visitors
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure financial sustainability
- Collaborate with the Education Department to develop and implement educational programs and events for visitors of all ages
- Work closely with the Marketing Department to promote museum events and exhibitions
- Serve as a liaison with external partners, including other cultural institutions, government agencies, and community organizations
- Monitor visitor feedback and make recommendations for improvements to enhance the overall visitor experience
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing museum operations

Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Museum Studies, Arts Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in museum operations or a related field
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of museum best practices and industry standards
- Familiarity with budget management and financial reporting
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
