Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Network Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in the real estate sector. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and leadership skills to manage and optimize our network operations to ensure seamless connectivity and communication across our real estate properties and corporate offices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Network Design and Implementation: Lead the design, implementation, and management of robust network infrastructure that supports our real estate operations, including data centers, office locations, and properties.

- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of network engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Ensure team members are trained in the latest technologies and operational best practices.

- Network Monitoring and Optimization: Implement and oversee network monitoring tools and processes to ensure optimal performance and uptime. Analyze network traffic and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and capacity planning.

- Troubleshooting and Support: Manage escalations for complex network issues, providing timely resolutions and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Collaborate with IT support teams to resolve incidents effectively.

- Vendor Management: Liaise with third-party vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts, manage service levels, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

- Security Management: Oversee network security protocols and strategies to safeguard against cyber threats, ensuring that all real estate assets are protected from unauthorized access and data breaches.

- Budget Management: Develop and manage the network operations budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.

- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures. Prepare regular reports on network performance and operational activities for senior management.

- Project Management: Lead network-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in network operations management, preferably within the real estate or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and software, including but not limited to TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and performance analysis.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Desirable Skills:

- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud networking and virtualization technologies.
- Experience in project management methodologies.
