Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team in the construction sector based in Dubai. The Night Auditor will be responsible for overseeing the financial transactions of the business during the night shift, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct nightly financial audits to ensure accuracy in all transactions and financial records.
- Prepare daily financial reports, including revenue, expenses, and cash flow statements, to present to management.
- Review and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices and payments are processed correctly.
- Monitor and verify the accuracy of daily entries in accounting software and databases.
- Address discrepancies and resolve any issues related to financial transactions.
- Coordinate with various departments, including operations and finance, to ensure seamless financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders during the night shift.
- Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and accounting standards applicable to the construction industry.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local regulations and industry standards related to construction finance is a plus.

Working Conditions:
