Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Nuclear Engineer Assistant to join our dynamic team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the engineering team in the design, evaluation, and implementation of nuclear systems and components within the transportation and logistics sector. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects while contributing to the safety and efficiency of nuclear transport operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the design and analysis of nuclear systems related to transportation and logistics, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with senior nuclear engineers to conduct research and development activities aimed at improving the efficiency and safety of nuclear transportation solutions.
- Support the preparation of technical documents, reports, and presentations related to nuclear engineering projects.
- Participate in safety assessments and risk analyses to identify potential hazards associated with nuclear transport operations.
- Help maintain and update engineering documentation, including specifications, manuals, and compliance records.
- Conduct experiments and simulations to test the performance of nuclear systems in various transportation scenarios.
- Assist in the troubleshooting and maintenance of nuclear-related equipment and systems in the logistics environment.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure all operations adhere to local and international nuclear regulations and standards.
- Provide support in training staff on safety protocols and procedures related to nuclear transportation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in nuclear engineering or a closely related field, preferably within the transportation and logistics sector.
- Strong understanding of nuclear safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in using engineering software and tools, including simulation and modeling programs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
