Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Aide to join our dynamic team in the energy sector based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will assist licensed occupational therapists in providing therapeutic services to patients, focusing on improving their ability to perform daily activities and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic activities designed to improve patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive functioning.
- Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and supplies, ensuring a clean and organized therapy environment.
- Help patients with exercises and daily activities as directed by the occupational therapist, providing encouragement and support throughout the process.
- Monitor and record patients' progress, reporting any significant changes or concerns to the supervising occupational therapist.
- Assist in the administration of modalities such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation as instructed by the occupational therapist.
- Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises, safety procedures, and the importance of adherence to treatment plans.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all regulatory and practice standards associated with occupational therapy.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care strategies.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling correspondence.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or education in healthcare or rehabilitation is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting, preferably as an Occupational Therapy Aide.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Basic knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Ability to lift and support patients as needed and manage physical demands of the job.
- Proficient in using office software and managing patient records.
