Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Optometric Technician to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The Optometric Technician will work closely with our optometrists to provide high-quality eye care services to our employees and customers in the transportation and logistics industry. As an Optometric Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with eye exams, vision screenings, and various diagnostic tests. You will also help maintain and calibrate optometric equipment, as well as educate patients on proper eye care and eyewear options.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist optometrists with eye exams and vision screenings
- Perform diagnostic tests, such as visual acuity, color vision, and depth perception tests
- Maintain and calibrate optometric equipment
- Educate patients on proper eye care, contact lens wear, and eyewear options
- Manage inventory of eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other optical supplies
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service and patient care
- Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing insurance claims

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as an Optometric Technician preferred
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in optometry or related field
- Strong knowledge of eye care and optometric procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
