Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Park Maintenance Worker to join our team in Al Ain. This position will primarily focus on maintaining and enhancing park facilities with a strong emphasis on integrating information technology solutions to improve the visitor experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in park maintenance, landscaping, and familiarity with IT applications that support park operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Park Maintenance:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of park facilities, including playgrounds, picnic areas, trails, and sports fields.
- Conduct landscaping tasks such as mowing, planting, pruning, and watering to ensure a clean and attractive environment.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts within park areas to promote sustainability.

2. Integration of Technology:
- Implement and maintain technology systems that enhance park operations, such as automated irrigation systems, visitor tracking applications, and maintenance management software.
- Assist in the installation and upkeep of Wi-Fi hotspots and digital signage throughout the park.
- Collaborate with IT specialists to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to park operations.

3. Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the appropriate authorities.
- Conduct regular safety checks and maintenance on park equipment and facilities.

4. Visitor Engagement:
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors, addressing inquiries and concerns effectively.
- Assist in organizing and promoting community events and educational programs related to park conservation and technology usage.
- Gather feedback from visitors regarding park facilities and technology, suggesting improvements as needed.

5. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other maintenance staff and departments to coordinate efforts and share best practices.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on new maintenance techniques and technology advancements.
- Assist in the development of maintenance schedules and work plans to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in park management or IT-related fields is a plus.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in park maintenance or a similar role.
- Familiarity with landscaping techniques and park equipment.
- Basic understanding of information technology systems and software relevant to park maintenance and operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
