Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pest Control Inspector to join our healthcare team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a pest-free environment within our healthcare facilities, contributing to the safety and well-being of our patients and staff. This role demands a thorough understanding of pest management strategies and the ability to implement effective control measures in compliance with health regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular inspections of healthcare facilities, including patient rooms, laboratories, kitchens, and storage areas, to identify signs of pest infestations.
- Develop and implement pest control plans tailored to the specific needs of the facility, ensuring compliance with local health and safety regulations.
- Utilize a variety of pest control methods including chemical treatments, traps, and baits while prioritizing environmentally friendly and safe practices.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of pest control measures, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal results.
- Document inspection findings, pest control activities, and treatment results in detailed reports for management review.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to educate them on pest prevention strategies and best practices for maintaining a pest-free environment.
- Stay updated on the latest pest control technologies, techniques, and regulations to ensure compliance and effectiveness in pest management.
- Respond promptly to pest-related complaints and emergencies, providing timely solutions to minimize disruptions in healthcare services.
- Maintain accurate records of pest control activities, including service reports, inspection logs, and compliance documentation.
- Participate in training and continuous professional development programs to enhance knowledge and skills in pest management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Agriculture, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 to 8 years of experience in pest control, with a focus on healthcare facilities being highly desirable.
- Knowledge of pest biology, behavior, and control methods.
- Familiarity with local regulations and standards related to pest management and healthcare.
- Certification in pest control or pest management (e.g., PMP, CPCA) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and pest control management software.
