Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Photo Researcher to join our dynamic team in the construction industry based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for quality imagery, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to source and curate high-quality photographs that align with our brand and project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough research to identify and source high-quality images relevant to construction projects, including architectural designs, construction processes, materials, and site activities.
- Collaborate with project managers, marketing teams, and designers to understand visual requirements and develop a clear understanding of project goals.
- Maintain an organized digital archive of images, ensuring easy accessibility for team members.
- Verify image rights, licensing, and usage agreements to ensure compliance with copyright laws.
- Develop and maintain relationships with photographers, stock photo agencies, and other visual content providers to expand the image library.
- Evaluate and curate visual content for presentations, reports, social media, and marketing materials.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in construction photography and visual storytelling to enhance the quality and relevance of sourced content.
- Assist in the coordination of photoshoots as needed, including location scouting, scheduling, and liaising with photographers and crew.
- Provide support in editing and retouching images when necessary, ensuring that all visuals meet quality standards before publication.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Graphic Design, Media Studies, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in photo research, visual content curation, or a related role, preferably within the construction or architectural sectors.
- Strong knowledge of photography principles, composition, and image editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with copyright and licensing issues related to photography and visual content.
- A portfolio showcasing previous work or projects related to photo research or visual content creation is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
