We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter Assistant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have experience in information technology and a strong mechanical aptitude. The Pipefitter Assistant will work closely with our Pipefitters to install, assemble, and maintain piping systems within our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Pipefitters in installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems
- Cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shapes and sizes
- Assist in the layout and installation of piping systems
- Perform routine maintenance on piping systems
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing piping systems
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all safety regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Pipefitter Assistant or similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of piping materials and tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in pipefitting or a related field
- Experience working in an IT environment
- Familiarity with computer systems and networking
