Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pipefitter Assistant to support our team in the telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems related to telecommunications infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pipefitters in the installation and assembly of pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures in accordance with blueprints, specifications, and local codes.
- Help in the maintenance and repair of existing piping systems, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standard.
- Prepare and clean job sites, including the organization of tools and materials required for pipefitting tasks.
- Support in measuring, cutting, and threading pipes using hand and power tools.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pipe installation and maintenance.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in pipefitting and telecommunications systems.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in plumbing or pipefitting is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
- Basic knowledge of pipefitting techniques and practices.
- Familiarity with various types of piping materials and their applications in telecommunications.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid UAE driver’s license is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment, as required.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
