Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Political Campaign Worker to join our team in Dubai. This role is crucial in leveraging information technology to enhance political campaigns, engage voters, and streamline campaign operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for politics, strong analytical skills, and a background in information technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Strategy Development: Collaborate with campaign leadership to create and implement a comprehensive digital strategy that includes social media, email marketing, and online advertising to effectively reach target demographics.
- Data Management: Collect, analyze, and manage voter data using various IT tools and platforms. Ensure the accuracy and security of all data related to voter outreach and campaign performance.
- Social Media Management: Oversee the campaign’s social media presence by creating engaging content, responding to inquiries, and monitoring interactions. Track metrics to assess the effectiveness of online campaigns.
- Website Maintenance: Manage and update the campaign website to ensure it is user-friendly, informative, and up to date with the latest campaign news and events. Implement SEO strategies to improve visibility.
- Technology Solutions: Identify and implement technology solutions that can enhance campaign operations, improve communication, and boost voter engagement. This may include CRM systems, mobile applications, and analytics tools.
- Event Coordination: Assist in organizing campaign events, utilizing technology for registration, promotions, and live streaming. Ensure all tech-related aspects of events run smoothly.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to campaign staff and volunteers on the use of technology tools and platforms, ensuring everyone is equipped to contribute effectively to the campaign.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research on political trends, voter sentiment, and competitor activities using data analytics tools. Present findings to the campaign team for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Political Science, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technology-driven roles, preferably within political campaigns or non-profit organizations.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools, including social media platforms, email marketing software, and web analytics.
- Proficiency in data analysis and experience with CRM systems and voter outreach tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for political engagement and a strong understanding of the political landscape in Dubai and the broader region.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) for creating campaign materials.
- Familiarity with coding and web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Knowledge of data privacy laws and ethical considerations in political campaigning.
