Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pricing Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the agriculture sector. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing and implementing pricing strategies that align with market trends and company objectives. This position requires strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Pricing Strategy Development: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the agriculture market.

- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify pricing trends, competitor pricing, and customer preferences. Utilize data analysis tools to interpret and present findings to senior management.

- Price Management: Monitor and maintain pricing databases to ensure accuracy and consistency. Update pricing structures as needed based on market changes, cost adjustments, and sales performance.

- Cost Analysis: Work closely with the procurement team to analyze production costs and ensure pricing reflects the cost of goods sold while maintaining desired profit margins.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with various departments, including sales, marketing, and finance, to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives. Provide pricing support and guidance to the sales team.

- Reporting: Prepare regular pricing reports and presentations for management, highlighting key insights and recommendations for pricing adjustments.

- Customer Engagement: Respond to pricing inquiries from customers and provide timely and accurate information. Assist in resolving pricing-related issues and disputes.

- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations regarding pricing practices. Maintain thorough documentation of pricing decisions and strategies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Agriculture, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in pricing, finance, or a related role, preferably within the agriculture sector.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, pricing software).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of agricultural products and market dynamics is a plus.
