Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Engineer to join our dynamic team in the agriculture sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing production processes, ensuring product quality, and enhancing operational efficiency within our agricultural production facilities. Key Responsibilities:

- Process Optimization: Analyze and improve agricultural production processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure optimal resource utilization.

- Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control systems to ensure that agricultural products meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

- Project Management: Lead and participate in projects aimed at enhancing production capabilities, including the introduction of new technologies and automation solutions.

- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including agronomists, quality assurance, and supply chain management, to ensure seamless operations.

- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and calibration of production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.

- Training and Development: Provide training and support to production staff on best practices, safety protocols, and new technologies relevant to agricultural production.

- Sustainability Initiatives: Promote and implement sustainable practices within the production process to minimize environmental impact and enhance resource efficiency.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in production engineering, preferably within the agriculture sector.

- Solid understanding of agricultural production processes, quality assurance, and equipment maintenance.

- Proficient in data analysis and familiar with statistical process control (SPC) methodologies.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and meet project deadlines.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.

- Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, MS Office) and familiarity with production management systems.
