Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Inspector Assistant to join our dynamic team in Dubai's bustling retail sector. The successful candidate will support the Quality Control Inspector in ensuring that all products meet the company's quality standards and compliance requirements. This role is pivotal in maintaining our commitment to providing high-quality products and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Quality Control Inspector in conducting regular inspections of retail products, including clothing, accessories, and other merchandise.
- Evaluate products for defects, inconsistencies, and compliance with company specifications and industry standards.
- Document findings from inspections, including detailed reports of any discrepancies, defects, or non-conformance issues.
- Collaborate with the Quality Control Inspector to develop and implement corrective actions for identified quality issues.
- Support the training of retail staff on quality standards and inspection processes to enhance overall product quality awareness.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality-related documentation in compliance with company protocols.
- Participate in quality audits and assist in the preparation of audit documentation and reports.
- Assist in the analysis of quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement within the product line.
- Communicate effectively with other departments, including procurement, merchandising, and logistics, to address quality concerns and ensure timely resolutions.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in quality control and retail standards.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in quality management, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or inspection within the retail industry.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to assess product quality effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and quality management software.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies, such as ISO or Six Sigma, is an advantage.

Working Conditions:

- The role will involve working in a retail environment, including both office settings and on the sales floor.
- Occasional travel may be required to various retail locations for inspections and training purposes.
- Flexibility in working hours may be necessary to accommodate store schedules and peak seasons.
