Location: Dubai, UAE (Aerospace and Defense)
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radiation Technologist to join our team in Dubai within the Aerospace and Defense industry. The Radiation Technologist will be responsible for operating and maintaining radiation equipment used in the testing and inspection of aerospace and defense components. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, technical expertise, and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate radiation equipment to inspect and test aerospace and defense components for defects or irregularities
- Maintain and calibrate radiation equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results
- Interpret and analyze radiation test results to identify and report any abnormalities or discrepancies
- Follow strict safety protocols and procedures to protect both personnel and equipment from radiation exposure
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to radiation testing
- Keep detailed records of all radiation tests conducted and results obtained
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in radiation technology
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Certified Radiation Technologist (CRT) license
- [5-8] years of experience working in radiation technology, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry
- Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
