Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Sharjah, specializing in the Aerospace and Defense sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality radiographic imaging services to support our mission in advancing aerospace technologies and defense capabilities. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform a variety of radiographic procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and other imaging modalities in accordance with established protocols and safety regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of imaging protocols specific to aerospace and defense applications.
- Work closely with physicians, engineers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging results and contribute to diagnostic evaluations.
- Maintain and operate radiologic equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and adherence to safety standards.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Analyze images for quality and accuracy; recognize and report any abnormalities or issues to the supervising physician.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting imaging procedures and outcomes in compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance imaging practices and patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and aerospace/defense applications through ongoing education and professional development.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current and valid certification/license from a recognized regulatory body (e.g., ARRT, DHA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in radiologic technology, preferably in a specialized setting related to aerospace and defense.
- Strong knowledge of imaging equipment and techniques, with a focus on safety and quality control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and radiology information systems (RIS).

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in aviation or military radiology is a plus.
- Knowledge of aerospace materials and the impact of different imaging modalities on these materials.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and procedures in the field.
