Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiology Assistant to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace and Defense sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting radiologists and medical professionals by providing high-quality imaging services, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining the operational efficiency of our radiology department. The candidate will work closely with advanced imaging technology and contribute to the health and well-being of personnel involved in aerospace operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care:
- Assist in patient preparation for radiological procedures, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed.
- Conduct initial assessments and obtain medical history relevant to radiological imaging.
- Provide support during imaging procedures, including positioning patients and ensuring their safety.

2. Imaging Support:
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols.
- Assist radiologists in conducting X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and other imaging techniques specific to the aerospace and defense industry.
- Monitor imaging quality and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal results.

3. Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging results, medical histories, and related documentation.
- Schedule appointments and manage workflow within the radiology department.
- Collaborate with other medical staff to ensure seamless communication and patient care.

4. Quality Control and Compliance:
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines, including radiation safety measures.
- Participate in regular training sessions and quality assurance programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Assist in the implementation of best practices for radiology procedures and technology use.

5. Technical Support:
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues with imaging equipment and coordinate with technical support for major repairs.
- Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology and techniques, particularly those relevant to aerospace and defense applications.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or certification in Radiologic Technology, Medical Imaging, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a radiology assistant role, preferably in a healthcare or aerospace and defense setting.
- Proficient in operating radiographic equipment and understanding imaging modalities.
- Knowledge of imaging protocols and safety regulations related to radiation exposure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on patient care.

Skills:

- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and radiology information systems (RIS).
