Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Aide to join our dynamic team in the energy sector in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting rehabilitation programs aimed at enhancing the physical and mental well-being of individuals recovering from injuries or illnesses related to energy sector operations. The Rehabilitation Aide will work closely with licensed rehabilitation professionals to assist in the delivery of therapeutic services and ensure a safe and supportive environment for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist rehabilitation professionals in implementing individualized rehabilitation programs for clients recovering from workplace injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions related to the energy sector.
- Support clients in performing therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and activities of daily living as directed by licensed healthcare providers.
- Monitor clients' progress and report any changes or concerns to the rehabilitation team.
- Maintain a clean and organized rehabilitation environment, including equipment setup and maintenance.
- Educate clients and their families about rehabilitation techniques, exercises, and safety protocols.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records according to established policies and procedures.
- Assist in conducting assessments and evaluations under the supervision of licensed rehabilitation professionals.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of rehabilitation plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe and effective rehabilitation process.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in rehabilitation, physical therapy, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting, preferably within the energy sector.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Compassionate and patient-oriented demeanor with a genuine interest in helping others.
- Basic understanding of rehabilitation principles and techniques.
- Ability to lift and support clients as needed, in compliance with safety guidelines.
- Proficient in using standard office software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
