Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Sensing Analyst to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting remote sensing data to support various telecommunications projects. The role involves working with geospatial data to enhance our understanding of environmental factors that influence telecommunications infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze remote sensing data, including satellite imagery and aerial photography, to assess land use, vegetation cover, and other environmental parameters relevant to telecommunications.
- Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing software to create and maintain geospatial databases.
- Collaborate with engineering and planning teams to integrate remote sensing data into site selection, network planning, and optimization processes.
- Conduct data validation and quality control to ensure the accuracy and reliability of remote sensing analyses.
- Generate reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and methodologies in remote sensing and GIS to improve data collection and analysis processes.
- Assist in the development of remote sensing applications for telecommunications, including disaster management, environmental monitoring, and infrastructure development.
- Provide technical support and training to team members on remote sensing tools and techniques.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Remote Sensing, Geography, Environmental Science, Telecommunications, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in remote sensing analysis, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
- Proficient in remote sensing software (e.g., ENVI, ERDAS Imagine) and GIS applications (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).
- Strong understanding of geospatial concepts, data processing techniques, and satellite imagery analysis.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and automation is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Familiarity with telecommunications infrastructure and network planning processes is a plus.
