We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Reporter Assistant to join our Education team in Dubai. This position will provide support to our Education reporter in researching, writing, and editing news articles, features, and interviews related to the education sector in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Education reporter in conducting research and interviews to gather information for news stories
- Write and edit articles under the guidance of the Education reporter
- Assist in fact-checking and proofreading articles before publication
- Monitor education news and trends in Dubai and provide updates to the Education reporter
- Coordinate with photographers and videographers to accompany news stories
- Assist in managing social media accounts and engaging with readers

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Knowledge of AP style and journalistic principles
- Experience in conducting interviews and research
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Familiarity with social media platforms
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a newsroom or media organization
- Knowledge of the education sector in Dubai
- Fluency in Arabic and English
