Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace and Defense sector. The ideal candidate will support our research initiatives, contributing to innovative projects that advance our understanding and development of aerospace technologies and defense systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct literature reviews and gather relevant data to support ongoing research activities in aerospace and defense.
- Assist in the design and implementation of experiments, simulations, and tests to evaluate aerospace systems and components.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data using statistical software and methodologies; prepare detailed reports summarizing findings.
- Collaborate with senior researchers and engineers to develop research proposals and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of research processes, methodologies, and results.
- Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes relevant to aerospace and defense.
- Participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and insights to foster a collaborative research environment.
- Support the preparation of technical reports, publications, and presentations for conferences and workshops.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- 1 to 5 years of relevant research experience in aerospace, defense, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., MATLAB, Python, R) and familiarity with simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, SolidWorks).
- Strong understanding of aerospace principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
