Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, materials science, and engineering principles. This position involves conducting research and development activities to innovate and improve manufacturing processes, products, and technologies. The Research Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to project development, and ensure that all research activities align with industry standards and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct research and development activities to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments related to manufacturing technologies and processes.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Develop prototypes and conduct testing to evaluate new materials and manufacturing techniques.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations to communicate research findings to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development of new manufacturing methodologies and the implementation of best practices.
- Participate in project management activities, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing issues as they arise.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and interns in research methodologies and technical skills.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in research and development within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials properties, and engineering principles.
- Proficiency in using simulation software and tools for design and analysis (e.g., CAD, CAM, FEA).
- Experience with statistical analysis and experimental design techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of quality control methodologies and standards in manufacturing is a plus.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and innovations in manufacturing is preferred.
