Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, focusing on innovative solutions in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering and research methodologies, with a passion for advancing healthcare technologies and improving patient outcomes. This role involves interdisciplinary collaboration, project management, and the application of engineering principles to solve complex healthcare challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis in healthcare technologies, including but not limited to medical devices, health informatics, and artificial intelligence applications in healthcare.
- Develop and design prototypes and models to test new concepts and ideas in the medical field.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including healthcare professionals, software developers, and regulatory experts, to ensure that research projects meet clinical needs and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed research reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings to stakeholders and facilitate informed decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and funding applications to secure financial support for research initiatives.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in healthcare technology and engineering practices, and integrate relevant trends into ongoing projects.
- Participate in clinical trials and studies, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Contribute to the development of publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at conferences to disseminate research findings.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in research and development within the healthcare industry.
- Proven experience in applying engineering principles to healthcare challenges, with a strong portfolio of relevant projects.
- Proficient in data analysis software and tools, as well as engineering design software (e.g., CAD, MATLAB).
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance related to medical devices and healthcare research.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus but not essential.
