Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofing Laborer to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing and construction, along with a keen interest in applying these skills within the Information Technology sector. This unique position combines traditional roofing tasks with a focus on technology-driven solutions in building infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems, including flat, sloped, and shingle roofs.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure roofing projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Utilize technology tools and software to track project progress, report issues, and communicate with team members.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Conduct inspections of existing roofs to identify potential issues and recommend solutions based on findings.
- Assist in the preparation and cleanup of job sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge of roofing techniques and technology applications.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed for reporting purposes.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in roofing or construction.
- Familiarity with roofing materials, tools, and safety practices.
- Basic understanding of information technology concepts and their applications in construction.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights.

Desired Skills:

- Experience with technology-based roofing applications or software.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations in the UAE.
- A valid UAE driving license is preferred.
