Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team in the financial services sector in Dubai. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facilities to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute daily sanitation tasks as per established cleaning protocols to ensure all areas of the facility are clean, hygienic, and well-maintained.
- Clean and sanitize workspaces, restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, and public areas, using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify cleaning needs and ensure that sanitation standards are consistently met.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Adhere to waste disposal guidelines and ensure proper segregation of recyclables and hazardous materials.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all sanitation tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, supplies used, and any incidents or issues encountered during cleaning operations.
- Stay informed about the latest sanitation practices and technologies to enhance cleaning efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a sanitation or cleaning role, preferably in a corporate or financial services environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, including safety measures for their use.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions meticulously.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to sanitation and cleaning practices.
