Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Senior Account Officer to join our dynamic retail team in Al Ain. This position is ideal for an individual with strong financial acumen and a passion for retail operations. The Senior Account Officer will play a critical role in managing accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and contributing to the overall success of our retail operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Oversee and manage a portfolio of retail accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled in a timely manner.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to senior management for review and decision-making.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and trend analysis to support strategic planning.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly while identifying opportunities for account growth.
- Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies, facilitating internal and external audits as necessary.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to streamline processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze account performance metrics and implement strategies to improve profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior account staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or financial analysis, preferably within the retail sector.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and retail operations.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
