We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Actuary to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Senior Actuary in the healthcare industry, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, evaluating risk, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop actuarial models and perform statistical analysis to assess and predict healthcare costs and trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actuarial support for product development, pricing, and underwriting
- Evaluate the financial impact of healthcare plans and initiatives, and provide recommendations for improvement
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, trends, and financial outcomes
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend strategies to mitigate financial risks
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in healthcare actuarial science
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries (SOA) or equivalent professional certification
