Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Compliance Consultant to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance within the Information Technology sector and possess the ability to manage complex compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our organization adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies while promoting a culture of compliance and ethical conduct.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs tailored to the Information Technology sector, ensuring alignment with local and international regulations.
- Conduct thorough compliance risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and analyze regulatory changes affecting the IT sector and advise the organization on necessary updates to policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, IT security, and operations, to ensure compliance with data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, UAE Data Protection Law) and other relevant legislation.
- Prepare and deliver compliance training programs for employees at all levels to enhance their understanding of compliance obligations and ethical standards.
- Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews to assess the effectiveness of compliance programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors during compliance audits and inspections.
- Develop and maintain compliance documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management on compliance-related issues and best practices.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging risks, and best practices in compliance to continuously enhance the organization's compliance posture.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CCEP, CISA, CISSP) is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance or regulatory affairs, preferably within the Information Technology sector.
- Extensive knowledge of compliance regulations and standards relevant to the IT industry, including data protection, cybersecurity, and software licensing.
- Proven experience in conducting compliance audits, risk assessments, and developing compliance programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in compliance management software and tools is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
