Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Auditor to join our team in Sharjah, specializing in Information Technology. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of our risk management, control, and governance processes. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of IT systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Audit Planning and Execution:
- Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans for various IT systems and processes, ensuring alignment with company objectives and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify areas of potential vulnerability and develop audit strategies accordingly.

2. Financial and Operational Audits:
- Perform audits of IT-related financial and operational processes to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
- Evaluate compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws, including data protection regulations.

3. Reporting:
- Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and action plans for management review.
- Present audit results and insights to senior management and the audit committee, fostering a culture of accountability and transparency.

4. Collaboration:
- Work closely with IT management and other departments to facilitate the implementation of audit recommendations and improvements.
- Provide guidance and support to junior auditors, ensuring knowledge transfer and professional development within the team.

5. Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance audit methodologies and practices.
- Participate in the development and enhancement of audit tools and techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

6. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Assess IT compliance with internal policies and external regulations, identifying gaps and recommending corrective actions.
- Assist in the development of risk management strategies and frameworks that align with corporate goals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (CIA, CISA, CPA, etc.) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years and maximum of 8 years of relevant experience in corporate auditing, preferably within the IT sector.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, practices, and methodologies, specifically related to information technology.
- Proficiency in audit software and tools, as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
