Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Modeler to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The Senior Data Modeler will be responsible for designing and implementing complex data models to support the organization's data analysis and reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, database design, and data architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data models to support the organization's data analysis and reporting needs
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into data models
- Optimize and maintain existing data models to ensure data integrity and performance
- Collaborate with data engineers and developers to implement data models in production systems
- Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and recommend solutions
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data modeling and database design
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data modeling and database design
- Proficiency in data modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or similar
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
