Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Ajman, specializing in innovative agricultural solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering design, particularly in the agricultural sector, and demonstrate a passion for developing sustainable and efficient agricultural systems. This role requires creativity, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop advanced agricultural machinery, equipment, and systems to enhance productivity and efficiency in farming operations.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify trends, technologies, and best practices in agricultural engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including agronomists, project managers, and field technicians, to ensure designs meet operational requirements and industry standards.
- Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform feasibility studies and cost analyses for proposed designs, presenting findings to stakeholders for decision-making.
- Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation of new designs, ensuring they meet performance and durability criteria.
- Provide technical support and guidance during the implementation and maintenance of agricultural systems, addressing any design-related issues that arise.
- Stay updated on advancements in agricultural technology and engineering practices to continuously improve design processes and solutions.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and interns, fostering a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and project updates to management and clients, articulating design concepts and their benefits.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in design engineering, preferably within the agricultural sector.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of agricultural practices, machinery, and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices in agriculture is a plus.
