We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of IT to join our construction company based in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's IT department, including strategy development, infrastructure management, and system implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT strategies to support the company's overall business objectives
- Manage and oversee the IT department, including staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluation
- Work closely with senior management to identify and address IT needs and requirements
- Lead the development and implementation of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Manage the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security systems
- Ensure the company's IT systems are secure, reliable, and up-to-date
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff on IT-related issues
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends and developments in the construction industry
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services and products

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 8 years of experience in IT management, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven ability to develop and implement IT strategies that align with business goals
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and security best practices
- Experience managing IT budgets and resources
- Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP, CISSP, ITIL) are a plus
