Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of IT to lead our technology strategy and operations within the real estate sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, systems integration, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the real estate industry. This role requires a visionary leader who can align technology initiatives with business objectives, drive innovation, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement an IT strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in the real estate sector to drive innovation and enhance operational efficiency.

- Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and professional development initiatives for the IT department.

- Infrastructure Management:
- Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and applications.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee the procurement of IT resources and services.

- Project Management:
- Oversee the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Implement best practices for project management and ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory standards.

- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with senior management and other departments to identify technology needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related issues and initiatives, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to meet organizational needs.
- Monitor and report on IT expenditures and return on investment for technology initiatives.

- Cybersecurity:
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential vulnerabilities.

- Data Management and Analytics:
- Oversee data management practices and ensure the integrity and security of company data.
- Leverage data analytics to drive business insights and inform decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the real estate sector.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects and driving digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data management principles.
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation.
- Knowledge of industry-specific software and tools used in real estate management.
