Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Programs to lead our strategic initiatives within the telecommunications sector. This pivotal role will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of various programs designed to enhance our service offerings and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in telecommunications, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing large-scale programs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the program strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Provide visionary leadership to program teams, ensuring alignment with overall business strategies and priorities.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across all programs.

2. Program Management:
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple high-impact programs within the telecommunications domain.
- Establish comprehensive program management frameworks, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Utilize data-driven decision-making to monitor program performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

3. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Communicate program objectives, progress, and outcomes effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Act as the primary point of contact for program-related inquiries and escalations.

4. Team Development:
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of program managers and project leads.
- Foster a collaborative working environment that encourages professional growth, knowledge sharing, and innovation.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

5. Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and obstacles that could impact program delivery and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices in program management.

6. Budget Management:
- Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
- Monitor program expenditures and provide regular financial reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in program management within the telecommunications industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex programs and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies, market trends, and regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Relevant certifications in program or project management (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Agile) are highly desirable.
