We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Editor to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a Senior Editor in the Pharmaceuticals industry, you will be responsible for overseeing the editorial process for a range of pharmaceutical publications, including medical journals, research papers, marketing materials, and regulatory documents.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a team of editors and writers to ensure high-quality content that is accurate, clear, and engaging
- Develop and implement editorial guidelines and standards for all publications
- Edit and proofread a variety of content, including scientific articles, press releases, and marketing materials
- Collaborate with researchers, scientists, and medical professionals to ensure accuracy and relevance of content
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in pharmaceutical editing
- Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure timely delivery of publications
- Provide feedback and guidance to junior editors and writers to help them improve their skills

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in editing, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong attention to detail and excellent grammar and writing skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of medical terminology and scientific writing conventions
- Proficiency in editing software and tools
- Strong leadership and team management skills
