Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Editor to join our dynamic team in the telecommunications sector based in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling combined with a deep understanding of the telecommunications landscape. This role demands a strategic thinker who can deliver high-quality content that engages our target audience and enhances our brand presence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Content Development: Oversee the creation, editing, and publishing of various types of content, including articles, reports, white papers, blogs, and press releases, tailored to the telecommunications industry.

- Editorial Leadership: Lead a team of writers and junior editors, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high editorial standards are met.

- Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research on telecommunications trends, technologies, and competitor activities to inform content strategy and ensure relevance in the ever-evolving industry landscape.

- Quality Assurance: Review and edit content for clarity, coherence, grammar, and compliance with company style guidelines, ensuring all materials are accurate and well-structured.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product management, and public relations to align content with business objectives and marketing strategies.

- Audience Engagement: Analyze audience feedback and engagement metrics to refine content strategies and improve audience reach and interaction.

- Project Management: Manage multiple editorial projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.

- Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and seminars, showcasing thought leadership through presentations and panel discussions.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in editorial roles, preferably within the telecommunications or technology sectors.
- Proven track record in content creation and editing, with a portfolio that demonstrates expertise in producing engaging and informative content.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies, trends, and market dynamics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an accessible manner.
- Proficiency in digital content management systems and editing software.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with SEO best practices to enhance online content visibility.
